Lesson 1:

Lesson 2: 
1. You'll have him in your back pocket. 你會把他給說服的
2. I see sparks between them. 我看他們倆來電ㄛ (spark: 火花)
3. I have a gut feeling that I'm on to something. 
手拿彩卷說: 我有預感我會中大獎 (gut feeling 直覺)
4. You can't do any cute. 沒有比這更可愛的了
5. I'm as innocent as can be. 我純潔的很 (innocent: 天真的)

Lesson 3: 
1. Her head hit the pillow. 她倒頭就睡了 (pillow 枕頭)
2. It’s a much better space. 狀況好多了
3. The next round is on me. 下一輪我請 (round 回合)
4. You really had her hypnotized. 她真被你迷昏頭了
5. There are varying opinions as to her story. 關於她的故事，眾說紛紜

Lesson 4: 
1. Don’t take her too literally. 別太在意她的話 (literally照字面地)
2. The TV was on the fritz during his favorite movie.

他最愛的電影看到一半，電視就壞掉了 (on the fritz 故障)
3. You’re OK in my book. 依我看，你還可以啦
4. That was quite a show you put on last night. 昨晚你真是大出洋相
5. He’s up to something. 他在打鬼主意

Lesson 5: 
1. The computer crashed on me. 我電腦壞了  (crash崩塌)
2. Fat chance! 門都沒有  (chance機會)

3. W’re sunk.  我們完了  (sunk下沉的；下陷的)
4. It’s fine and dandy. 不會有事的  (dandy: 口語用，意指上等的、極好的)
5. They’re shooting the ball.  他們在聊天   (shoot the ball射球 )

  

Lesson 6: 
1. Deliverance!  臭嘴  (罵人講話難聽)
2. Attaboy! 好孩子/男人  (對男孩或男人的稱讚或鼓勵)

3. I’m on hold.  我在等對方聽電話  (on hold 等待通話中)
4. It’s a nice touch. 質感佳  (例如：布料或其他材質的物品，摸起來質感好)
5. Get with the time!  跟上時代吧 

Lesson 7: 
1. We’re taking this part I wanted to go.  我們到此為止

2. You’re a killer.  你很玩命 (killer 殺手)

3. I’m opt. for death.  我寧可死 (opt.= optative的縮寫，表願望的)
4. I haven’t had one offer.  我一次也沒被錄用 (offer 提供)

5. He’s grossly overpaid.  他坐領高薪 ( grossly 非常；overpaid 報酬過多)

Lesson 8 
1. If my memory serves me, …… 如果我沒記錯的話,……(memory 記憶 ; serve 服務)

2. What seems strange becomes common.  司空見慣 (common普通)

3. Let’s triple-team him.  我們三人去包抄他 (triple-team三人一組)
4. No more mucking about with it.  不要再亂動它.  (muck about 耍弄)

5. Not a moment to spare.  一刻也不能停 ( spare剩下)

Lesson 9 
1. You don’t take a note for a non-sense. 你就是不放棄 (take a note 作筆記；non-sense: 無意義)

2. I’ve been tracing you through phone calls.  我一直打電話找你 (trace 追蹤)

3. Second to none.  堪稱第一 
4. It isn’t humanly possible.  根本就非人所及  (humanly從人的角度；possible可能的)

5. It’s invigorating.  真是猛啊！ (invigorate賦予精神)

Lesson 10 
1. He’s too much of a couch potato to go. 他太懶得去了 (couch potato懶人)

2. Are you throwing me a surprising party?  你在幫我辦驚喜趴嗎？ (throw 拋；丟)

3. I don’t doubt it.  難怪  (doubt 懷疑)
4. That could be one word for it.  可以這麼說

5. Beat to the punch.  先發制人 (punch用拳猛擊)
