有時候我喪志時，會有參加 boot camp 的衝動
Sometimes when I get depressed, I have a sudden impulse to attend a boot camp.

我覺得喪志者其實是需要當頭棒喝被激勵前行，而不是安慰
I reckon that a depressed person actually needs a kick in the behind to get going instead of a comfort.

美國平民可以體驗 boot camp 的訓練, 參加者感到收穫良多
American civilians can get a taste of military training at the boot camp, and participants benefit a great deal.

健身業也有所謂的 boot camp 訓練，不過它只是採用boot camp 裡的部分動作而設計的健身課
A fitness boot camp is a type of group physical training program conducted by gyms.
The program just adopts a part of the boot camp training.

所以，「欠操欠罵」才是喪志者及懶人需要的強心針啊！
Therefore, intensive training or a kick in the butt is a shot in the arm for the lazy and depressed.

Maybe I had hurt many people in my past life.

If so,  I would have been in agony because I never want to hurt anyone.

Forget it. Accept my karma.
算了吧！接受我的果報

I'll do as many good deeds as possible to pay off my debt.

A Long Weekend 連續假日

Today is 228 Peace Memorial Day, a national holiday.

今天是228和平紀念日，是國定假日

Because it’s on Thursday, we have a four-day weekend.

因為是在週四，我們有四天的連假

The bridge holiday had been made up last Saturday.

彈性放假那天已在上週六補班(課)

連續假日 a  long weekend

(一般週末weekend只有兩天，含週末超過三天的假期都叫長週末long weekend)

四天連假:

a four-day weekend

a four-day holiday

a four-day break   (break是休息)

4 days off in a row   (in a row 是連成一線/列的意思)

4 holidays in a row

彈性假日

bridge holiday   (bridge是橋樑，用橋連接兩個假日，就是彈性休假)

moveable holiday   (moveable 是可移動的)

floating holiday   (floating 是浮動的)

Dream Interpretation 解夢

最近一直做惡夢     I've been having a nightmare.

所以看了一下解夢資料    So I read some dream interpretation.

相信很多夫妻也都做過跟我一樣的夢  
I believe lots of couples have had the same dreams as I have.

1. 夢到老公/老婆外遇 Your husband/wife has an affair. 
可能表示如下:

2. 夢到自己是外遇者 You are the cheater.
   可能表示如下:

--潛意識裡有背叛念頭  It indicates a betrayal from your subconscious mind.

--自我愧疚及背叛感  It suggests feelings of self-guilt and self-betrayal.

--你有控制慾

   It signifies your desires for control, power and authority.

--最近性慾較強

   It reflects the intensity of your sexual passion.

--妳的需要沒有被滿足  It suggests that your needs are not being satisfied.

--對生活中其他領域的愧疚感

   It indicates a feeling of guilt in other areas in your life.

   If your partner is not very affectionate, you might have a dream about cheating to satisfy your inner desire to be loved by someone.

可能性這麼多，我反而難找到答案了，傷腦筋！

The dream suggests so many possibilities that I have a hard time to find the right one. Such a headache!

Magically Turn Black into White

日記 Dairy: 1/25/2015

一夜之間全黑變全白，不是頭髮啦，是那家中防水矽膠(水槽周圍、淋浴間四周...等)，
It turns into white from black. Not my hair, I am talking about the moldy silicon around our sink and shower room.

過去我們真傻，花了很大功夫時間割掉Silicon再重塗，每半年就搞一次，累死人！
We were silly enough to cut off the silicon and re-apply it to the original places.
We did it once half a year. It's exhausting.

自從用了妙招，一天就輕鬆搞定，
Ever since I found the coup, it has taken only one day to deal with it.

只要把衛生紙沾上漂白水，放置在黑掉發霉的Silicon上，放個一天，隔天早上拿掉，潔白又乾淨溜溜，
Just put the toilet paper all over with bleach solution on the moldy or blackened silicon.
Leave it there for a day.
Next day you take all the paper away, then you will see totally clean and white silicon.
