剛來時其程度非常基礎，以下是三個月後的進步狀況:

文法句構grammar and sentence structure	無概念 no sense and know nothing	be動詞句、祈使句、yes/no問句、Wh--及How問句、現在及現在進行式時態。 1. declarative sentences with linking verbs 2. *yes/no* questions and interrogative sentences with *who, what, where, how* 3. imperative sentences 4. tense: present and present progressive
聽說 listening and speaking	回答名字及問好 can only tell his name and respond to a simple greeting	能聽懂全英文講解、問答所有學過的句型、介紹自己和家人、以口語造句。 can be lectured in English, react to dialogues with familiar sentence patterns, introduce himself and his family, and orally make sentences
讀reading	無法讀課文 unable to read a text	能閱讀國一上冊課文 able to read and comprehend a text
寫writing	僅簡單字、不會應用 only simple words	會造句able to make sentences

學生已於潛移默化中使用英文直接思考，例如你問他問題或考他文法筆試，他會本能直接回答，若你問他為何要這樣答，有些部分他說不上來，但他就是會答，這就是我要的結果，不需要思考就能脫口而出或寫出答案。
The student has learned to think directly in English without knowing it. For instance, if you ask him how he knows the answer to a question, he might not be able to explain it, but he just knows how. This is the result I want----using the language spontaneously without thinking.
